need some wheel help
Okay, i need to know if anyone out there, runs 295/45/18's on the rear of a 2001 T/A. The car is not lowered, has stock ride height amd Im using Foose nitro's that are 10.5 wide. I have tried to find out if anyone is running these tires with no luck. currently have 275/40/18's and want to fill the wheel wells a little more. Any help would be appreciated and if you have pics of em on yer car send am along. Thanks

I believe you can run up to a 315 out back with the proper back spacing and a little hammer modding. I still run the stock tire size on our car in street trim, so not 100% on this one.

295s will fit just fine but that profile will throw off your speedometer and might give you abs issues
you want a 35 profile

a 295/35/18 will get you closest to the stock tire height for a 295 tire

555 are not too bad in the rain just dont do anything stupid and you will be fine. Ive only gotten squirly on mine once and that was bc I was goofing around in the rain.

What is more important to you, a sticker tire or something longer lasting?
And i personally would not prefer 555rs for a dd, i've never personally tried 555rs in the rain but my old mt drs sure were a handful. Is it manageable to drive them in the rain, yes. Will you feel the same if you were driving on a tire designed for it, not at all.

I'm glad you asked that question. I was wondering how wide I could go on the rear with keeping my car at stock height.
