you can do that yourself man. You'd have to remove a few things to get to it: like the fuel line/rails, the throttle body and there are a few hoses running to it. BE CAREFUL the oil pressure sending unit is to the back right of it-if you shift the intake too hard you'll break the unit. Not detrimental, just something that i did when i removed my intake.

then just clean it/primer it with hightemp primer and paint with high temp paint. yes all sprays. what color are you doing?

oh, there are 10 or 12 bolts along the top of it, they are VERY long, and the back 4 do not come out after you loosen them b/c they get stopped by the windshield.

While you have the intake off it might not be a bad idea to "de-ridge"/port the runners. Stick your finger up the runner and feel for ridges/unusual casting bumps, etc. Don't go overboard, just smooth things up a little for better airflow. Or take it to a pro with your head #s and have it port matched.

Please forgive if this is the wrong forum for this.

depends on what color your car is. that's from a red car, so i'm sure the red combos will look fine, i assume you have a black car so it's gonna be hard to make a good combo other than some shades of gray or white or silver [metallic gray] I'm a big fan of the black intake-i just wished mine was clear coated, don't have the patietce to take it off and do it.
