White/ blue stripes- 2002 WS6 / 2000 firehawk
Need muffler help!!!!
hey iv got an 02 WS6 with slp loudmouth, and quite frankly, its a bit to much of a loudmouth. now we have a friend that can put a muffler on it, but it is an off brand called a goerlich XLerator, my question is are these good mufflers?? as far as sound and performance im looking for something thats not to loud but a little louder than stock.does anyone have one currently on their car?
thanks for the help

I would go to Youtube and see if theres a soundclip for you to get an idea. If you dont like it. You can use it to find a muffler sound you DO like and sometimes depending on your area you can pick up one on Craigslist for cheap.

Iv looked on youtube and found nothing, i know what i do like but this would be easy and cheaper than the alternative. im thinking about just ordering a magnaflow or something...

Personally I would go with what you know you like than being disappointed with your bird. The sound your bird makes is one of the most important athstetics of your car. Plenty of research is always in order.
Good luck

My Brother had an XLerator on his IROC, didnt sound very good at all, it was really raspy. He got rid of it within a year of putting it on. I talked him into a magnaflow now he loves it.

Again I say, magnamouth
Would be the cheapest option. Get the magnaflow resonator and swap it for the slp one

Oh ok. SO the magnaflow resanator isnat as harsh then? but still mean though right? It just bolts right in there or is some "massaging" needed?
