    Need a code translated

The SES light came on in my car yesterday so I went up to AutoZone to get the code pulled. The scanner said P0430 and was scrolling something about "Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 2)". Does this mean one of my cats went out or is it an 02 sensor? Any help on what this code refers to would be great help. TIA.

    Cat I would think.

I was getting that code as well with hi-flow cats.

It could be the rear O2 as well.

Basicly that code is saying that the rear O2 isn't reading what it should. Either because of the cat or the sensor is jacked.

I just had those rear O2 codes deleted from the PCM.

I had the scanner erase the codes and the code hasnt popped up again yet, hopefully it was a fluke.

If you go to an obd ii website for any vehicle 1996 and up, you can look up codes for GM vehicles.
