a lid is what is on top of the air filter. i would get it dyno tuned if there is a shop by you.

with the dyno tuning the shop can do a little more to the car and you get a printout of what kind of power you are making.

Dang, I didn't see that when I was in Dubai. I didn't go very far though. I saw a modded Camaro SS in Bahrain, however, and it was insanely loud. Never woulda thought F-bodies would catch on in the middle east.

i would say the lid with a k&n filter. i dont think there is a big difference in power gains.

another thing, after i installed the exhaust system (header y-pipe and cat back) i have this weird sound it sound like steel hitting steel below the transmission i don't think that is normal it doesn't feel as comfortable as it used to

It may be the y-pipe hitting the floorboard. That's common after header installs. You can either adjust it or get a bump stop from thunderracing.com. Another thing that happened to me that caused a funny sound from that area was a broken transmission mount. It's hard to diagnose a sound over the internet.

mine made a hitting sound after the headers too. it was the ypipe clamp hitting the floor board. it got better though.
