Need Advice for my First Mods
I've got a 1999 Trans Am with the flat hood on it. I would really like the get the same hood that came on the WS6s with the scoops on it and I would like to have functional ram air. What is the best way to go about doing this? What kind of air box, lid, ect. do I need to buy? Also, should I look for a stock hood or is there a reproduction that would be better?
What are the best weld in subframe connectors I should buy?
Also, I would like to get the loudest and most hp increasing exhuast system I can while staying under the maximum legal decible limit. What is the best system to buy for doing this?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Black / Stryker Blue- 2K WS.6/ 2K9 G8GT
look to suncoast, or ebay for the hood.
any aftermarket lid will do, just get a filter also.
bmr, global west, and udi are just a few suspension companies that sell sfc's
i have the fully adjustable borla system, and i love it. alot of people also back magnaflow, as they to are a great company. look to member Mr luos for exhuast knowledge, he knows his stuff, stay away from flowmaster and slp, both are way overated, living off their names...

Thanks, I appreciate the help. One question, to make the ram air functional is there some way I have to seal the box to the hood? Or does the hood even have anything to do with the air coming in or does it all come through from below?

on the ls1 cars the hood does the work, you dont have to seal the airbox, but you can upgrade to the taller airbox however do a search for free mods on this site, there are some useful tips and tricks there

What exactly would I need to buy/do to change the induction to be exactly like it is on the WS6 cars?
Also, would it be at all beneficial to do this and the free ram air mod or would it be pointless to do both?
Thanks
