Need Advice before 4:30 pm today
I found a guy selling some lowering springs for $50. I'm not sure if he's legit yet or not.
He Doesn't know the brand because there is no name on them. And they were on there when he bought the car a year ago. So they have at least 14,000 miles. (what he put on in a year) Said almost a 2 inch drop.
So the questions is: Should I buy used lowering springs for $50 or get new ones for much more than that?

If you don't know...you may end up with LT1 or V6 lowering springs.
I would pass.

I know that they came off a 99.
Is there any way of telling what brand they are. Sorry, I'm a noob when it comes to springs. Is there some engraving on springs or just stickers or some other way of telling?

$50 is almost nothing...if they don't work or you find out what they actually belong to (LT1 or V6), then resell them to a friend that has one of the them.
Just my 2 cents...

I think I'll get them. As long as they look alright.
$50 is almost nothing. Hell if I don't like them and they are in decent condition I could maybe for a little profit.
If I get and install, I'll post up some before and after pics.
