mystery leak
I was under the car today and noticed a wet spot on the drivers side of the k-member on the brake line. Fluids are not down anywhere. I tested the brake line and seems ok and there is nothing wet above on the rack.

Hard to tell, but most likely a very small weep in the P/S system. Mine was oiled up pretty good before I started my K-member swap. Cleaned it up and it has stayed nice all year so far. Could also be that someone spilled fluid filling the reservoir.

Is that UV die safe to leave in the system. I was thinking of putting it in the PS fluid.

I have never used it. I usually leak check by cleaning everything off real good and then try to pinpoint the source after a short drive or two.
