Good stuff man, excluding the stolen parts, but I'm glad he got it back. Was it the Police that recovered the vehicle or did your friend find it?

Glad he got it back. That's really lucky it wasn't burned up like most thieves return it. I tell alot of people all the time, all you need to stop 95% of crooks is a $1.45 toggle switch. Hide it anywhere in the car. Kill your fuel pump, save your car.

This is cheaper and true, But if you have a hidden switch inside the car, nobody will see you poop your hood and pull the fuse. Also if its raining outside, you wont get wet.

Its def a little bit of work pulling panels, hiding wires, drilling holes for toggle switch, etc, BUT really....your keeping your car in your hands. How much time is that worth. I put allot of blood n sweat into my ride.

My ride stays in the garage with a 3rd car parked behind it. If someone can move the Impala, break into the garage, and start the SS without me or my Pit Bull hearing it, they deserve it! Haha. I know a lot of people park outside or leave their cars unattended. Toggle switch is definitely a great idea.

Def when my car is home i have 1) in garage 2) alarm on garage 3) truck in front of garage 4) ever so friendly doggie!
Iam just saying if you go out to eat, or hang out at a car show, go to cruisin weekend down the beach and such, you need to keep your car yours with other means then the factory so called theft deter-ant system.
