    2001 formula

    My Door Panel Crack Pic's

    here are the pic's of the door panel cracks in my 2001 formula. They appear to be a little longer in length than the other pic's. The car has 136K on the odometer.

    mine arent cracks yet (knock on wood) but you can tell theres alot of stress in a couple places down the door pannel.

    Pull the staples from the blck lip in that area before the crack starts.

    pull the staples.... ok it could be because im tired but that made absolutely no sense to me lol

    and i'm a bit north of charlotte, like 4 minutes from concord mills mall at 49 on i-85. i dont think youre too far away from me! where are you at in statesville?

    On the back side of the pannel the black rubber window seal is held on by staples. You must pull the third staple from the back of the pannel( back is the outter most part of door when open) The staples are different from the 93-97 in which they add stress causing the plastic to split. Use can use hot glue or simaliar after removing the staple.
    I live 20 mins North on 21 outside of city limits.

    You mean Firebirds, cause Camaros don't genaraly have that problem.

    My cars a 94, 115k or so... no cracks, or just the newer ones?

    I believe it is only on 97+ I have never seen them on an early fourth gen. I also have a 96 formula and it has no cracks. This is not a problem for the Camaro.

    the more you use your windows the worse it seems to get and i thinkit is only a pontiac problem i dont see it on camaros, but they have pletty problems of their own im sure...never heard of the stable theory...too late mine are already cracked now but mine dont look as bad as some of yalls and ive got 124xxxon my door panels

    Mine have all been 93-95s, so must be the newer ones only.
