TSP true-duals its 3" mandrel bent with x pipe, your choice mufflers (dynomax bullets, sweet thunder, Moroso spiral flows) with dumps before rear axle. I think I paid around $400 shipped. you could modify them to go all the way to the rear if you would rather go that route. You could also look into corsa, borla, and gmmg catbacks. I have also heard hooker catback is fairly inexpensive. SLP likes to state that you will gain alot of hp from their parts but they are speaking at the Flywheel not the rear wheels. Alot of people can be disappointed because of that. But in the end it is your decision to make because it is your car. Do what will make you happy.

My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
i think the first thing you should do is go to www.ls1sounds.com and review some catback systems that are available. Then make your decision.

Red Tint Jewelcoat- 2008 Trailblazer SS
Pretty much everything mentioned.
Plans with mods in the future??? That is where my problems began. I didn't think I was going to mod all that much. So I ordered a couple little things from SLP. Lid and Loudmouth.
I still have that lid, but I had to get rid of that catback before I even got to my motor swap.
I admit 100% I also got sucked into SLP parts when I was first learning how to mod my car. I had their headers. I don't anymore. I would be dragging them on the ground with their design now. Literally.
It really depends on what you want to do with your car. If you are planning to NOT mod past a couple little things, get a lid and the Loudmouth. It will sound great...as long as you don't add headers.
I recommend duals or if you stay catback get the Magnaflow system.
GMMG sounds great, but is very pricey, same with Corsa and Borla.
The hooker catback seems to be another good one.
Flowmaster catback adds VERY little power, but doesn't sound too bad.2008 Trailblazer SS
Yank PTB3600, Kooks 1 7/8" LT's, 4" intake, E-fans, Magnaflow, Sonnax kit, tranny cooler, tune.

From what I am learning Borla isnt as grate as the price suggest and the best bang for the buck would be something like the magnaflow system, and hooker headers for our cars works the best...Idk from experince but things that im going to do in the future so im making sure that I do it right the first time around, TRYING HAHA.

I would recommend Pacesetter ceramic coated headers. Fitment was excellent, no issues for me.

Pacesetter is tried and true. Kooks are good, they are so much more expensive due to them being stainless steel. They will outlast the car. Many guys on here have Pacesetter probably more than any other header due to price. ceramic coated pacesetters will last years also but probably wouldnt expect them to out last the car. All longtubes give similar gains but some are more expensive (kooks, QTP due to stainless) but some also hang low and can scrape alot, some just have some fitment issues (hard to install). Pacesetter dont hang low and go in alot easier then some of the others. If you are Looking for bang for your buck go with pacesetter or hooker. If you are looking to get the best and dont want to ever change your setup then go stainless (kooks, QTP, etc.)

Yes.- bunch of them
+1 on the Corsa, as you get what you pay for- Top notch in quality and finished appearance. Up to 500 hp, they flow well. Beyond that, forget it.
