modifying WS6 hood
has anybody tried to modify the stock WS6 hood to make it more like a firehawk hood? i think it would look hot because the scoops on the WS6 hoods are more pronounced and the part of the hood that is between the hood and bumber snorkels looks silly IMO.
kinda like the passenger side on this pic. sorry for the remedial MS paint but i don't have photoshop. any opinions or can somebody photoshop it to see what it would look like?

I can't see chopping up a factory hood. Might as well light a smoke with a $100 bill.
Personally, I think the WS.6 hood looks better than the Firehawk hood. For this reason, I got the WS.6.
Now...Don't get me wrong, I love me a Firehawk.
The Firehawk is much smoother with the lines.
The WS.6 just looks like it wants to kill you....and that is what I like about it. Backs up the power I have.

Either way you are OK. Personally I love the look of the WS6's. But there's no doubt that there's a lot of air going into that hood when it looks more like the firehawks

I vote in favor of leaving the stock hood alone.
Question though, isn't that pass. side parking lamp burnt out?

Yeah it would look better plus I had bad luck with the SLP hood cuz it didnt fit very good so that would be a simple and cheeper way to achiving that look, I just dont know about cutting up a hood that already looks amazing as is cuz it could end up costing you alot in the long run if you mess up, but if you do go through with it post some pics so we can see how it turned out !!!

Definitely, if you do decide to do it, post up some pictures and a how to. The toughest part i see would be rebuilding the edges of the hood where you cut the fiberglass to make the 'nostril' area one big opening. Definitely going to require some fiberglass 'blending' of sorts.

The hawk hood is like a wolf in sheeps clothing that cathces you off guard. The ws6 hood is the wolf with one hand on his nuts while bitch slapping a lion.
