Mod vs Stock T/As?
Just curious how would my setup do against a totally stock 99 T/A in a 1/4 mile?
My signature has everything I've done so far.http://www.ls1.com/forums/f7/my-6-liter-build-174257/

This is almost impossible to answer. Yes you would have more power than a stock T/A but we dont know what kinda traction you would get. I have seen some stock f-bodys run 13.2s-13.4s which you could easily run slower than if you have traction problems. Good news is you should have a higher trap speed lol

You have more mods than I do, A4 versus your M6, but for comparison our car ran a 12.885 at 107.93 mph a few weeks ago on Hoosier QTP's. Essentially stock, my best was a 13.395 at 106 mph last year on street tires.

I'll be the first to admit that I need a driver mod as well.

both will be on street tires.
And it is just a friendly comparison between 2 T/A owners.
Taking it to a track to be safe and legal.
between the 2 of us I have more experience with driving our cars and he is a new owner. I've also been working on my launches over the summer.

Well this week end I was going over both cars and discovered why I have a bottoming out problem with my headers. I think my springs are shot! I know it's not the shocks I replaced them last year. We had both side by side and my rear sits almost 3 inches lower then his on a level surface.
So now I gotta look for shocks. Any recommendations? I want to keep it at stock height.
