Are you guys babying it to get the auto to last close to 170k? I need a budget DD and im looking at a TA convertible with 134k and am a bit nervous to take the plunge.. Motor squeeks but i think its an idler pulley?? Trans shifts firm. Wish i had a lower mileage auto around to test drive and compare.
I pmed a bunch of the members this to get feedback. Sorry, just trying to get feedback before making an offer. Thanks guys!

Black/Screaming Yellow- 99 S/C TA WS6 & 04 Cobra
Mine has 91,XXX miles on it and the rear was changed to a 12 bolt at 58K, then the motor was changed at 65k due to the stock one breaking a few ringlands, and the stock t-56 lasted until 84k and still had lots left in it but I switched to a th-400. I broke one Spohn torque arm around 75k. I drive it like an old lady though...

1999 T/A with 140,000 only had to replace the water pump. oh and i had to replace the power steering pump because i was acting dumb while i was doing burn outs. lol but other than that nothing else major was replaced besides performance parts.

'99 TA. 153k miles, stock. oil/service every 3000 miles (since i've owned it since it was couple years old).
suddenlty i'm having issues though:
- oil leaking from somewhere
- lazy clutch pedal (when it's cold) - i'll try the fluid change method.
- found slit in PVC boot/hose - replacement ordered.
when it rains it pours - at least that's been my experience w/ this car.

'98 Z28 A4, just hit 137,000 miles. Got it in March of this year with 130,xxx on it and so far no problems. Tranny still shifts great too. I just do regular maintenance and take care of her.

Ignition Orange/Black- 2008 G8 GT, 98 Z28 383
My 2000 Now has 134,9xx. Just had the T56 rebuilt, and have had the rear end rebuilt (By choice not because it broke.) Other than that everytime something breaks I replace it with something aftermarket that is better than stock.
