    Maaco?

So as most of you know, I have recently repaired and repainted my front bumper. Looks great!! But the bumper looks much better than the rest of the body.

Age has certainly got to the paint. I was thinkin about going to Maaco Paint Shop and having my whole Firebird repainted.

Ive read reviews and I have came to a conclusion to prep the car my self. Any thoughts??

Get it professionally detailed then reevaluate your finish. Those guys can work miracles.

Ah I know but the clear coat is just off and there are so many inperfections on the paint that really should juust be painted.

For ex. Bubbles on top of car between ttops and hatchback. Scratches deep enough not to come out. And paint peeling/cracking on top of wing.

All the peeling and bubbles on the sail panel and wing will just return with a new paint job..

GM was kind enough to use glue that is caustic to paint when assembling your F-body.

They knew about it yet issued no recall that I am aware.. Nice huh?

Maaco is a deal if you do the prep work and not expecting a show quality job. Had my 81 CJ7 done 8 years ago in white and still looks great.
