    Is it a LT1 or LS1?

    Hi folk

Is that a LT or LS powered car:
    http://www.usa-autos.ch/autobox/gara...2&IDGaragen=13

It says it's a LT but from 98 it should be a LS1 engine. Is there any fact from the exterior what someone knows as "it's a LS1!" or "it's not a LS1" car? =)

    Best regards

It's a LT-1. You can tell by the front clip. In '98 they changed the nose. The easiest way to tell (for people that don't know) is the LS1 has dual headlights, which started in '98 as part of the change, as oppossed to the single lights on the LT-1's.

Oh ya that's definetly an LT1 Car. Like said above thee whole front clip is different (Hood Fenders Bumpercover) `98-up cars also have fake exhaust vents in the fenders behind the front wheels.

Well, they can totally swap out the front nose of an LT-1 w/ a LS1 front. So I always insist on lookin under the hood...

was thinking about doing a 98+ws6 front clip, hood swap if i could find the parts for the right price. I am still putting out more at the wheels than a stock one so it would not be a discrace...And soon i should be hitting real close to 400rwhp...
