    LS7 out a a 2008 zo6 or D1SC procharger?

Ok. I can get my friends 2008 LS7 out of his ZO6 on a mustang dyno 430-440 RWHP it has 3-500 miles on the motor for 8-10 Grand installed. Procharger D1SC with 500+ RWHP and a SPEC stage 3 clutch for the same. Which one and why.

    omg, the ls7 for sure...

    1) it's an Ls7
    2) you'd be a 1 of like 5 ws6's with that kind of swap
    3) the ls7 can continue to be modded after the install at later dates
    4) its an ls7
    5) dry sump oil system is the sex!
    6) IT'S A FREAKIN LS7!

I would run it as a wet sump to save some cash. I don't think I would lose to much HP as a result of that. He ran an 11.21 with et streets.

I vote LS7 as well. Lots of people have procharged LS motors in all kinds of cars, very few have LS7's, and even fewer have LS7's swapped into F-bodies

Plus, the motor makes 430WHP bone stock. Add full bolt ons and you're almost at the same HP level you'd be at with the procharger, without the need for internal engine modifications or a cluttered up engine bay.

He is spending 30K on an engine and starting from scratch. A warhawk block and all new internals. The largest procharger an F1C used for racing app.s. A full cage new rearend. 1K on a 100mm throttle body build from scratch....... He is looking at over a THOUSAND RWHP. 505 just is not enough he says.

I'd say Ls7 for all of the reasons that TTS listed (plus his badass emblems

Imagine putting a d1sc on that ls7...? The baseline #'s alone make this the definate choice especially if you plan to mod in the future!!! Let us know what you decide!

BTW, is your friend goin with a carb manifold with a high rise custom intake and throttle body? Just curious cause I saw that setup on a warhawk block in GMHighTech.
