All the 01-02 Fbodies got the LS6 intake. Easy enough to spot.

If that's all your after I'd just throw one on the current WS6 you have. It's not worth an entirely different car for a $300 intake. Not to mention the 01-02 got the dinky truck camshaft as well so it's really a trade off. Your 2000 with the larger factory cam would respond better to an LS6 intake swap.

Up to you if you want to trade but from what I'm understanding here,,,,I'd just keep what ya got.

You are correct, the original posters car is a 2000.

I think Justin misunderstood what you were saying previously.

I would get the SOM for the color. I wouldn't worry about intake.

I'd keep the Formula WS6 over a regular WS6, imo.

I don't care so much about color. And I sure wouldn't be willing to jump in another car that has more mileage just for the color change.
Especially if you have had your car for a few years, you know what you have, what's been worked on, repaired, and any other little quirks that it might have.
Jumping into another car (for just a color change) throws all that out the window, not knowing exactly what you are getting into, things that don't crop up until later down the road.

Or maybe none of this matters and you are just googoo eyes over the color

i'm not a fan of SOM, so, whatever, you dont seem to care either.

ls6 intake is NOT a big deal, if you didnt get the ls6 intake from the factory then you got a slightly larger cam so

Yep, intake?? Cam?? It's a toss up on performance on a stock car. Intakes are easier to change then camshafts though

I don't think that was mentioned.

Either way it doesn't make that much difference to me either.

If both are auto or both are m6 then i would keep the Formy. But if one is auto and the other is m6, i would with the six speed one but then Formy ws.6's are rare and so are som ws.6's Pretty hard choice there
