LS1 vs VR6 Jetta

I have a buddy who thinks that his VR6 Jetta is the shit. Its pretty funny. Read this thread that I put up on the vwvortex forum. So who would win. A stock LS1 (which mine isnt stock...386RWHP but we are going to assume it is for the sake of this poll) or a stock VR6 Jetta.

I knew that this forum would vote for the LS1. But some others on the vwvortex think that the VR6 would win.

I know that it was a dumb question, b/c both you and I know that anything powered by an LS1 will beat that VR6. I just wanted to prove it to my friend that he is an idiot for trying to tell me that his VR6 is better.

It really is no contest. Tell him to come back when he has somthing a little more potent like an Audi S4, which would still most likely lose stock vs. stock.

He tells me that he has "secrets" to unlock power, and "that he knows cars" by tinkering with them, not by reading a magazine. Thats how you learn. You read about it, and then do it. But whatever. 18 to nothing on this forum, 13 to 3 the last time I was able to check on that forum...they kicked me off of the thread.

No shit. But they are just kids and thier mommy and daddy bought them these toys for them. Fast enough that they wont get beat by honda's (some of them), but slow enough that they wont kill themelves.
