    Thumbs up Ls1 upgrade?

    i gotta 2002 firebird formula, with catback exhaust, and i was wondering what is the best upgrade(s) for the money. i'd like to put a cam in it. any ideas?

    i would get a air lid,k&n filter,long tube headers,off-road y-pipe or catted if you live in a state that requires inspection before i did a cam swap.

    Ya make the car breathe better before the cam.

    Also a stall will make it seem like like a whole new machine. If auto.



    Edit: just noticed it is a formy so it should have the blackwing lid already. Right?

    If you run these cars hard without them then be prepared for leaks from t-tops, your door panels to start to crack and all sorts of other screaks and noises to arise.

    Are you an A4 or M6? If A4 then a 3400 or bigger stall (+tranny upgrades) AFTER SFC's. You want to be able to close the doors down the road don't you. Also, as stated, if it's a t-top car it'll keep them from being tweaked (to easily) and (over the long term) leaking.
