Low fuel light question
Hi all. I have a 98 TA. I was told that when you are running low on fuel the "Check Gauges light" lights up. I had the car for a while I have ever seen this light come up except when my alternator went bad. I noticed that other vehicles will do that. I was told that my cluster could have a problem with this light and that replacing it might solve the issue. Anyone had the same issue or can give me some input? Thanks.

Not sure if that will fix it but it should come on when you run low on gas mine always does.
1998 Trans Am 85k miles.

I don't think its a problem, on my first '99 it would go on when it got to an eighth of a tank, on my new one i have let it run pretty low and i have only seen it once.

The 1998 bird. does not have a low fuel/check guages light. It is a different tank completely. I know.. trust me

Mine came on once and ranout without comming on once.but that was a long time ago
