    Loose

Hey Guys. I have another question. I found a loose connection on the passenger side. Do you guys think it came loose from the back of the intake? I saw it hanging down while I was puting in the new rockers.Click image for larger version.

It comes out of a set of wires that is on the passenger side under the cowling. I took another picture of the set if wires it comes out of, but it won't download here from some reason.

It does plug in the back of intake. It is a vacuum hose that allows you to have AC controls.

The port that sticks out under the MAP sensor in the photos is where that vacuum tube plugs on to.

Yeah, I figured that was it. I layed across the engine and reached back there to it, but for some reason, I can't feel it. I also have one of those mirrors with the telescopic handle on it. I couldn't see it either. I would so hate to have to unbolt all that crap just so I can slide the intake enought to get to it.

Just feel for the MAP sensor and it is right below it.

Well, I'm wondering if I just can't reach far enough. I think I can feel the MAF, but I'm not sure. But there are things in the way back there like the pcv valve line, a large dia. conduit and a small dia. conduit. It is pretty busy back there. I'm going to get one of my sons who is tall and lanky to reach back there and see if he can feel it.

The large diameter hose is the brake booster and yes the small diameter hose should be the ac control hose, which should be across from the big one.
