Looking for some info on a Lingenfelter built T/A WS6.

Hi guys just recently run into a 98 Trans Am WS6 6M, for sale that was completly overhauled when it was brand new by LPE. And I mean every little thing on the car.
383 Stroker Motor with the 495HP packige, suspension , transmission, 12 bolt LPE rear end. LPE big Brake kit, roll cage really the whole nine yard. The car has 39000 miles on it now 3rd owner still looks and runs like new. I really like the car and wanna buy it. But I'm not sure what something like that worth. So I'm curius what do you guys think. Its not the Hurst T/A.
    Thanx guys for any input.

Interesting, I have in-laws in Winnepeg, and you are asking about a LPE car. I purchased my T/A new from the dealership in Decatur that handled some of the LPE Hurst WS6s. Not that this means anything..... just a co-ink-i-dink.

LPE builds good stuff. However, that is a 13 year old car. Miles are low, but resale value on mods is only about 25%. So I'd say, if the mods cost, lets say $16K (US) when the car was new, they are going to add only ~$4000 to the resale back then. Factoring in depreciation, I'd guess that car would be worth $12-$15K at most. I'm sure others will have different opinions. If its a rare color like sport gold metallic or bright purple metallic, you could add another 5%.

Thanx but the actual ammont spent @ LPE is around $50000 us. The engine upgrade is $17000 alone rear end $5000 brakes are $4000. Rollcage $4000 and the suspension plus a hole lot more add on's not even talking about HRE costum wheels. And a crazy costum stereo system.
Last summer I sold my 2000 WS6 6 speed stock. With 120000 miles here in WPG for $14000. So I'm thinking a little more. Than $15000 for all that with that milles.I seen a Hurst t/a go for 80000 on EBay a while ago.
I can get this car for around 18000. I just wanna make sure I get a good deal on it.
    Thanx

Sure. 25% of $50K is $12,500. On top of an otherwise $8K - $11K car, that'd make it $20,500 - $23,500. So yeah, $18K is a good deal. Definately go for it. If you don't, let me know where it is.
