If you plan on doing a cam/heads then go for the FAST90/90 or even the 92 they have out now.
If no cam then stay with the LS6, the 90mm's gains over it are minimal.
I'd say throw a 50 shot with some gears and call it a day.

Have you done any suspension yet? You could put your power to work better and be faster.

Mystic Teal/Chameleon grn- 1998 TA
WTF
You payed them to tune it and they wouldn't let you see the numbers? you should always be able to see numbers (like baseline #'s) but have to pay more to tune it, not the other way around. I dont know if i'd be going back to them. I would do the LS6 intake, SFC's, gears, and maybe a small shot later.

be careful with guys that tune. alot of times they have more money than sense. I bought my t/a and it was tuned by someone who put the rev limiter all the way to 6900rpm. There is no power at that high of a range. Had my teacher re-tune it, and he shook his head at what the other tuner did. When we first dynoed it I had 301hp at the wheels. That's with an exhaust leak and dirty injectors and old fuel filter. fixed all those issues, dynoed it again and got 305hp. Finally he tuned it for safety and power enrichment and i got 319hp / 342 ft/lbs of torque at the wheels. He adjusted the rev limiter to 6200rpm.
I'd put a pic, but not sure. can't copy paste here.....any suggestions.Last edited by Anwazi; 07-02-2008 at 11:17 AM.

haha...i like the little smiley's shooting that red x!
Numbers. Here is some. These are from Pro Dyno Tech in Crawfordsville, IN.
Peak Hp is @ 5900rpm with 319.5 hp AFR: 11.74 to 1
Peak Torque is @ 3900rpm with 342ft/lbs AFR: 12.36 to 1
This is at the wheels btw.
When he dynoed it the first time with problems (exhaust leak, dirty fuel injectors, dirty fuel filter) it said 384hp at the crank. Never got to see if that went up or down after the re-tune. i was just excited about the extra 18hp at the wheels.

BTW, if anyone wants to have their car tuned at this place it runs $450. The guy has 30 years of experience with corvettes. He's got a 600hp corvette that runs on E85. He converted it himself. He's a cool guy and very smart. Not like that story up top where the guy said he'd tune it for $75 and let you see the numbers for another $60. That's just fkd up! Here is the info if anyone is interested.
