    Longtube install

Im about to install my LT's. I have a few questions. Can i use the stock cats for the Y pipe. AND im doing it with a kid who says he knows what hes doing. And that header installations are easy. I dont know a lot about header installs. Can i trust him, hes a good friend of mine. Are headers hard to install, or is it just patience because its cramped under the car??

you can't use the stock cats, and headers aren't too bad to put on as long as you have a good way to get the car high enough

Incorrect, I just installed longtubes on my friends 02 SS, and they slid right in from the bottom, no problem!

yeah, they'll slide right in it really isn't a big job. you do have to get it pretty high though, at minimum the height of the headers sitting under the car, and they have to be tilted back to get them in, so account for that. Try to get your hands on a lift and it will all be ok for sure, but I don't think you would have any problems on tall jackstands other than the fact that there is work to be done from up top as well as from under
