    A little more power

Good morning. Its off tp the dealer for the SES light. My bird is a 6 speed. What would I need to go 12.90 or so, just barely break in the high 12 second mark. Would just bolt ons do it or do I need to go inside the motor??

probably haeders, an electric cut out, a cold air intake, drag radials and you're there with ease.

Please stay away from ANY handheld tuners. Waste of money.

    As for getting 12's...
    4.10's, DR's, and practice.
Basic bolt-ons will just make it easier.

i disagree. i have had good luck with my diablo with some decent gains. you just have to know how to tune a car properly. if you dont know how, then i agree with you.

If you know how to tune....then why use a handheld?

Get real tuning software and do it right.

The diablo and handhelds up timing (sometimes not safely) and will make power. Just not in a good way.
For the average user, it will gain a few ponies without issue. Bump it too far, and pinging is a problem.

oh i agree. i use the custom tune settings not the tune they provide. thats way too basic and vague. it works well for me, might not for someone else.

The dealer fixed the light. It was the air pump, relay and valve. Strange problem happened when I got home, the car would not start. I dont think I had the clutch pushed down all the way. After several tries it started up has not done it since. All the dash lights came on the starter did not engage. I will check the battery cables in the morning.
