Is leather in all ws6's?

Ive been looking to buy a ws6, but can only find leather interior...wth?

I believe all t/a's have leather interior. Someone correct me if I am wrong. Formula ws6's have cloth interiors by the way, but they are rare.

Yeah all `98-02 Trans Am's have standard leather seats.
Leather seats were optional on Firebirds and Formula's
So yes you can get a WS6 Formula without leather, but the problem is finding a WS6 Formula peroid.

I had heard that some T/A's have imitation leather or pleather as we call it. Ive been in a friends car and was like is this leather cause it was no where near the same as mine.

I would say the exact opposite.

My Hyundai XG350L has (pleather)

My 02 WS6 is MUCH nicer-- I think the leather in the WS6 is real.

the leather in my formula is the same as in my ss but the yukon's seats are nicer but thats the difference between a 98,01 and 05

ok, thank you so much guys. Ive been waiting several months already trying to find the right car to get. Ive found some good ones...but i didnt want leather if i had another option. Leather is cold in the winter, hot in the summer, and i would have to maintain it every once in a while. I love leather and how it feels, i just would rather have cloth for those reasons.

I found a formula that had cloth in it. So i figured ws6's would have been standard with cloth...but never could find any. oh well i guess. Leather it is!

cloth lover? Must not be a smoker, you drop your joi----errr a cigarette just one second and you got a damn hole! As for cloth seats, they are not power seats. The seats in the trans am is the reason I got a ws6 instead of a SS camaro. I got a bad back and they do wonders.

My Formula Hawk has cloth seats and the driver side is a power seat, although the passenger is not a power seat. I never smoke in my car, oh yeah I don't smoke.

top of the line u will not find a true ws6 without leather, who the hell wouldnt want leather? my mom has cloth in her lt1, its painful for me to ride in that car haha

Interesting...I was actually going to ask this question. I just saw an ad on AutoTrader.com for a '99 T/A. Not sure if it's a real WS6, but it DOES have the wheels and hood. It also has cloth interior. I actually LIKE cloth, so that doesn't bother me, I just found it interesting.

Price is 11k, it's a M6 with 62k miles. How's that sound?

on a hot day like black leather and T-Tops! I've never seen a T/A WS6 without leather, but I didn't even know they made a WS6 formula!

T/A WS6's have leather. Formula WS6's do not, however they are rare and I believe they stopped making the Formula WS6's in 2000.

That's probably really a Formula WS6, not a T/A WS6. I have heard reports (but not seen pics) of ONE T/A WS6 built in '98 w/ cloth interior and hard-top. I believe it was a very early production car used for promotional / media testing purposes.

Well, technically, a Formula (WS6 or not) COULD have the optional leather interior. And you are correct 2000 was last year of WS6 option on Formulas.
