Honestly I don't know.
Up until I found that link, I thought they were not being made anymore since like 2004. Every once in a while you could find a set on ebay for an outrageous amount, but MDG didn't sell them for quite a while.
I guess they recognized that there was still a market for them and decided to release it as a Cult kit.
Hopefully they will keep them around for good.

The keychain that comes with it looks pretty sweet, too. $95 sure is steep for that kit, though. One could buy a brand new lid for that much.
