    kinda lost

    Is the ls6 intake and 80mm BBK TB a good set up? I dont have the $ nor guts to shell out close to $1500 for the fast 90/90 when u pretty much get the same performance from the LS6 intake. I heard stories of cars stalling after this went on because the AF ratio was screwed up. So is it a good combo and with that, catback, MAF, Lid, 4.10's Nitto's can i break a 12.5? Im most likley gonna strap it on the dyno and am hoping for somewhere around 380.

    i'm sure it would be much cheaper to have yours ported, then you can buy an ls6 too. Once you start modding things that are monitored by the computer [like the MAF] you'll want it to be tuned so you don't stall like said others.

    If you dont have the money to spend on little gains, i suggest not spending it there then.

    I do have the money, i just think its useless to spend 3 times the $, when something the same can give u the same gains. I saw a guy on LS1 tech actually loose HP when he swaaped the 90/90 on his car.

    Probably b/c he posts on ls1tech. ok, I kid. I kid.

    Probably still has stock manifolds. Think: your letting more air in, so your compression is denser, now your engine tries to shove it out the stock manifolds but can't squeeze all of it out.

    let me know if i'm right or not-i kinda took a stab in the dark w/that.
