    THE WS6 THAT COULD

Cool Just Picked Up My Ws6

it has 37k on it runs great,a big step up from a 3.4 v4. i am curious to how i can find out what is all done to the car, ive done some searching and i noticed that most stock ws6's have two exhaust tips one on the left one on the right, well my car has two on the left and two on the right and gives a pretty good scream when its WOT i cant figure out if its the stock exhaust or if its aftermarket aslo around 3k rpm it humms pretty loud, is there anyway to tell if its stock? also did the 2000 ws6 come with the ls6 intake?

Get some pics and post them up, I bet someone here could tell what kind of exhaust is on it. As far as the intake, I don't think they started that until the '01 model year, but I could be wrong.

Nice choice on cars, btw. Pics!!!! I must have pics to drool over.

    My life is a
    Ben Stiller movie.

twin tips on a ws.6 are definatly aftermarket...especially if you can hear it at 3k

You got me on the exhaust. It's not Borla or Corsa (at least not like the ones I've seen). The engine bay looks pretty stock, of course some things you'd have to get a deeper/closer look to tell.

u got the stock lid, most likely everything after that MAF, Throttle body and intake manifold are stock as well..
the cat-back exhaust looks old and rusted as well, it may not be stock but it's worth replacing it for performance and looks as well. look into the Corsa, or Borla..
check out my avatar pic.. I got the Corsa.. it's sweet.. $900 though...

I feel ur pain, I was a newbie a year ago, I've learned so much from browsing this site, it is an open library on LS1.. I'd start with the following link:
    http://www.installuniversity.com/ins...sity/index.htm

then browse around LS1.com in the general, newbie area sort of speak to get the
lingo and brands right and see the progression of mods u wanna do.. also look at my signature.. u'll see a logical progression of mods.. I'd go with SLP lid, K&N filter they also sell. check out. www.slponline.com for that,

the exhaust looks like its from an older t/a maybe its just the tips? but the stock exhaust is just one on each side. not dual dual. good luck with it.
