I have a 1998 trans am purple metalic with 68 thousand miles and absolutely mint in and out with american racing rims , strut tower bar, subframe connectors, custom exhaust, custom sound system. I was just curious what my car would be worth, thank you.

I recently picked up my 2000 Trans Am, unmolested, Automatic w/40,000 miles for $13,500.

For a '98 with those miles, and mods (they hurt your value, not help it) I'd say more like 10,500 - 11,500. 68K is good mileage though. You should hang onto it.

I would hold it too. I had an 02 Camaro Z28 I sold in 04 with 6K miles and regretted it until I bought my 02 TA this year with 14K miles. KEEP IT!!!

Am I missing something here...isn't that particular color very rare? I'd say $10,000+ if its a base model T/A and more if its a WS6. I know I wouldn't take any less than $10,000 and that's without the hood. I have under 63,000.

simple mods like those will NOT hurt the value... but you are correct that they will not help or add to the value. simple bolt-ons are never a bad thing because only a collector will want it stock and a collector isn't going to want a car with thousands of miles on it...

now, a blower or turbo will prolly hurt the value as that, if not done correctly, can damage the motor and rear end.
