ITS ALIVE!!!...w/ a few problems?
So i threw on a new serpentine belt today. Took about 3min to install. I wasted more time running to the auto store to get one than i did changing it. It runs fine now, but there are a few lights on the dash. Before i swaped the belt the car was sitting untouched for about 5 days. Before firing it up, i checked all the fluids and they were fine. The second i started it, the Low oil and SES light came on. Im pretty sure the SES light is about a bad cat but wuts up with the low oil light? My battery died out becasue i forgot to unplug my radar so my friend jump started it. I drove it non stop for about 45 min, and now the battery seems charged. But y is it saying low oil? Maybe the comp is fucked up? My friends ford explorer needed a jump start and when we did it, it fucked up the 4X4. So now he has no 4X4 and its just rear wheel drive. Any1 else jumpstart w/o problems??

Pewter Metallic- 2002 Trans Am WS6 M6 D1SC
i had mine die when i was cleaning it out and left the radio on and doors open for too long. Jumped it and didnt have any problems.
Take it down to the auto parts store and have them check what exact codes you're trowing. They can turn them off and they wont come back if there isnt really a problem. I go to the Advanced Auto Parts by me for it. Good Luck.

Try taking the battery cable off for a few mins, Re-setting the ECU. If that doesnt work then go get the codes checked out.

Well the SES light went away. The fluids lights went away as well. It came on last night when i was driving back from the track, and both didnt come back on. I will keep an eye out for a few more days and well c wut happens. By the way no mean to hijack the thread, but im gonna give my car a good tune up soon. Flush all the fluids, check all the filters, plugs, wires etc... Is it worth getting a K&N or GREEN filter??

Its not like your gonna notice the small hp gain you might get from a knn, but you also dont notice a gain in hp when you use royal purple over penzoil, its up to you if you wanna use the best for you car or not.

The oil light is no lie. Add 1/2 quart and it'll go away in two drive cycles.
