ok guys well i sold my 98 t/a a while back an i miss it so iam shopping for a 01-02 ws6. i havent been around in a while so i dont know what the prices are right now but i found a 01 black ws6 with 47k miles for 15k iam sure i can get it for about 12500 or maybe a little lower since my dad knows the car lot owner. it has no dents or nothing all stock except a magnaflow catback m6 the chrome ws6 wheels an the tan interior with perfect leather seats an dash pad lol...the car looks brand new to me. but what do you guys think of that price?

clean retail on NADA is 14k (i assume thats coming from a dealer) on KBB good condition resale (most cars fall under this) is 10k ( Excellent shape, 5% of cars is 11.5k)...thios should help you on offering a price...any mods on the car?

that seems like a great deal for a black 01..just make sure the paint is good cuz black is hard to keep nice..but if it is taken care of and is nice...nothing looks better in my opinion..id say go for it!

If it's like new $12k at a dealer is about right. That's why I have been saving since last year to ge a Camaro SS to sit next to my TA in the garage. I wanna get one private party. A guy I met on a cruise just bought a 04 Z06 and was selling his TA 01 Ram Air for $10k with 35k miles to get it sold since the economy is bad he had to sell cheap. I wish I had the cash before he sold it. Love the NBM color.
A little off subject but $15k is crazy for a TA when you can buy a Vette for $15k with the same mileage. I guy that goes to my friends shop was having some new tips put on a 99 Blk vette he bought with 53k miles great condition with chrome Z06 wheels for only $14900. Now a Firehawk is a different story I would pay extra for one of them.

$12,500 is good deal, anything less than $12k would be a very good.

Price also varies by where you live as well. In TX vette's, camaro's and TA's can be picked up cheap in some parts. I know compared to Mass there a lot cheaper here fir a better car. I know Cali is another place there overpriced as well. Just make sure to ask for a carfax to make sire it has a clean title especially if your paying over $10k. Lotta sleazy dealer trying to pass off rebuit cars as being in mint condition because the shop did a clean job putting it back toghter.
