    I so happy!!!

In the last week I have gotten:

LS7 Clutch kit, UMI STB & SFC's, Autotrix Passenger Wire kit, SLP Air-Lid, and today I got my PCM back from Frost.

WOW what a difference his tune makes!!! Wish I had done it sooner!

All I have left to install is the clutch kit and weld in the SFC's. Hopefully I can get it done this weekend.

I will post some update pics once it is all in.

Did you mail yours into Frost? How long did that take to get it back? Mine is a DD, but I could rely on my roommates for a lil bit if it's worth it. I'm not too convinced about the local speed shops.

Sounds like Christmas came a little late - but definitely worth waiting for. Gota see the pics when done.
It's not how fast you can go. It's how fast you can get there.

I'll throw out an answer -- I mailed our PCM to Frost and it was back in a couple of days. He may have had it for 1-2 days, the rest of the time it was in transit. Highy recommend his services... and I haven't even started the car yet.

I'll add that it also depends on how you send it to him and return. I sent mine USPS Priority and he got it in 2 days, He sent it back the same way and I swear the USPS sent it via pony express. It took 6 days. Frost is not to blame, the USPS is. I installed my PCM back into the car in an hour. Also If you are doing the Passer window fix from Autotrix, now would be the time to do it. You will have to remove the PCM anyways, so you might as well do it at the same time.

Another thing I also learn was that when you do the fix if your PCM is not installed you can not test the window fix until you get it back.

I haven't taken any pics yet because my car is dirty in the engine bay. I also have a power steering hose leak that needs taken car of. Once every thing is squared away pics will be posted.

Just had the SFC's welded in and sprung for some new bling bling. Got some new exhaust tips too. No more ugly stock tips. Next the clutch, have to wait till next weekend. Kids new new glasses.

Congrats on all the upgrades! How was your install of the window fix kit? Did you happen to make a video?

No video sorry, I got a little confused with the wire diagram, part of the reason is looking at pics in black and white and the other was I mis-read the instructions. So after a couple of trips back to the PC to look at the instructions in color I got it all done. Then I discovered that you need the PCM to test the fix. My PCM was with Frost getting a new tune. After it came back I hooked it up and tried it. Work like a charm.

Your product was very much needed and welcomed!!

    Thanks

It is an investment that will prolong the life of your passenger motor. I notice a huge difference in how it performed after the install. The videos don't lie. I know he has 2 kits, one is just the fix and the other is to give you an express up/down. The second I believe also comes with the fix included, but you need to check with him or his web site.

Yes the express down kits are the window fix kit with a special module added to it.

Thanks for all the wonderful info SMWS6TA!

It's not Off Topic, it was one of the things I installed last week end.

Idiot GM Engineers ran the power lead wire for the passenger window motor through the drivers switches. Thus under powering the passenger motor. Over time it kills the motor. I believe ever 4th Gen F-body has this fault. Autotrix.net sells a fix and is well worth the money. If you have ever had the "joy" of changing your passenger motor you'll understand why this kit is worth it. After changing 2 in my 96 Firebird I was dreading having to do this again in my T/A.
