i need help with a 98trans am
The security light is on an it wont crank up i had to unhook the battery cable cause the alarm wouldn't go off wen i turn the key

Did the alarm shut off with the key fob ? Sometimes after mess with the battery and you open a door without hitting the fob button it will sound the alarm. Try unlocking the door with the fob and starting the car twice. If that does not work then ^^^^ DO THAT^^^^
