I just got the info on the november issue of high performance. I got a 2 and a half page feature article called me and my pontiac. Im am so stoked that i made into there mag.

So what do you think? How does it look?

I might have met him while i was there but i was mostly talking to Bob stuart he is the art director for hpp. Also my sis work there and works on vette and mopar muscle. I also know chris phillips that works on vette and Hpp.

No sorry i havnt been to the track yet. but need to.

thats sweet man. Im a new member and i havent had a chance to take any pictures yet. But i have a 2001 WS6 metallic orange t/a too. I drive it about twice a year now and it has 8500 miles on it. I call her Dina.
Shes my second car, but my first was a 1979 t/a that i had for about 8 years. I dumped about 19000 dollars into it by the time it was done but then i couldnt afford to keep fixing it anymore. I sold it for $4500 because i only had room for one car. So we have a lot in common. I totally hear you about the smokey and the bandit edition, and im shore living the dream in a sunset metallic t/a.

The second i seen her i knew i wanted her. I even paid of it before i knew how to drive stick. 8500 miles thats bran new. I have 46k now. Is yours stick? Witch i had a 79 t/a. Maybe i can get one of the new year one t/a's there coming out with. And your from New York so am i. Bay ridge Brooklyn here. I cant wait till it hits the stands.

Im from long island. Shes an automatic. It was a choice between actic white or the orange. But who could pick white over that orange.
What year is the new trans am supposed to be coming out?

SOM all the way over white. I belive its going to be next year sometime for a limited production.

What the hell are you talking about there's no gaurentee any trans am will ever come out, let alone next year. If you read that post there saying either the trans am or gto will be back and it won't be until 2010 if at all.

OK let me give you the FYI.

This is only a limited run that year one is building for the anniversary of the bandit run back in 1979. Year one is building 3 different models of the 79 bandit style t/a's with a ls7 in it.And selling them to the public. IM really not to sure on the year they are coming out but there on the way. I have seen it in 2 different mags and HPP had the story twice and its on other LS1XXXX forums.

I'll help you out here and find you a link to the story of the car. Get a grip know it all.

I read an article at road&track.com recently that talked about the plans of a Pontiac muscle car. Bottomline, It appears it will be called GTO if it is approved for production.
