i know this has been asked before

I know this has been asked before but is it completely necessary to tune your car after a header install and what is the best bang for the buck header, also what would a fairly stock car dyno after a header and dyno tune and without tune, thank you.

Best bang for the buck header = Pacesetters. Cheaper than an Xbox and are right up there with the big boys (Kooks) in quality.

If you're only doing headers, I wouldn't worry too much about a tune. It won't make that big of a difference. I'd get the tune after all the breathing mods are done (Lid, headers, exhaust, intake). Then another after engine upgrades (heads, cam, etc)

Dyno guessing is hard, but I'd say with headers only you'd be looking at around 290-310 to the wheels. With a tune bringing you higher in that range.

i've had my headers for a bit now and haven't had my car tuned... only reason i'd do it would be to see what kind of numbers i'm putting down with them... i don't care if i run a little rich...
