headers, cat-back, intake manifold will give you about 40-45 for about 1k

Used headers w/ cat-back for $500 or so (stick with LG, Kooks, AR, or TSP) The TSPs make good power, but are not made of quite the material that the others are.

Used LS6 intake for roughly $300.

    Veraram intake for $160.

That's about $960 there, but I would also consider running underdrive pullies, which you probably get for a little over $100.

Save yourself a lot of money by purchasing this stuff when you find deals in the for sale sections of this website and others like it. You probably won't be able to find the underdrive pullies or the Veraram intake used as easily. People will not usually go through the hassle of removing those parts from their car when they sell it or upgrade.

Oh, and BTW I meant to say headers with mid-pipe, not cat-back. The cat-back usually isn't worth much if anything. If you go with LTs, though you'll need the mid-pipe to go with them.
