Huge bird decal, what do ya think?

this guy...is postin his trans am for sale...i'm guessing it isn't a ws6, but he's asking 14,000 for it...and it has 80,xxx miles on it...he didn't post a vin...u guys think the huge bird on the hood is kinda gawdy? I emailed him asking if it could be taken off without putting dmg. to the paint...hah, in the description it says the emblem costs 500 bucks...ouch.

Well, got to go test-drive that beast today, he actually didn't have the bird on...because somethin in the garage fell on his hood and jacked it up, so he claimed it on insurance and they bought him a new hood...he has the decal but hasn't put it on yet....anyway, its a 2000 automatic, with a tape deck...i know kinda random...charcoal leather, the good seats....its got headers, obnoxiously loud exhaust and a whole other list of mods that i don't really understand hah....he said he was gonna return the exhaust to stock, cuz it was...well just too loud, and by what he said caused the engine light issue that was on the dashboard...The guy opened it up as he took me out for a drive, goin from drive...shiftin down to third, that sucker screamed...anyway its not a ws6 or a standard, and he's askin 14k for it.

Yeah, rear window bird maybe but, not the hood bird. They just don't look good on a 4th gen hood.

birds don't look good on any of the fbodys. no matter what front and hood. stripes really look good with the ls1 ws6 hood though.

im sure a rubbing compound will take it right off, but i have no experience with decals either.

It's something you had to get use to, but it didn't look bad. I don't think I would put it on my car.

Where would somebody get a decal like that that would fit nicely on the ws6 like that firebird has.....

That dude wants way to much it's not even real Ws6 And it has 80k miles and its 2000 and its A4 there cheap. Its worth more like 9-10k.
