    Mine gets changed everytime I get into the motor.

    I would flush and fill every 40,000 or so on a car driven more regularly than mine.

    Dexcool is your coolant, its in your radiator. I believe GM uses Dexcool with all its vehicles now.

    Dexcool

    Dexcool is designed to last 100,000 miles, but you should have it checked every season to make sure the PH/alkalinity is within tolerance as is the boil/freeze points.

    GM tech in the house:GM starting using dexcool late 95 in some cars in 97 when almost everything started having it never lasts 100k and doesnt last the 5 years either espeically if the car has been overheated. i change dexcool in all my cars every 3-4 years using distilled water as well as the upper and lower rad hoses & thermostat and i do the same for all my customers that arent too cheap
