How much should I have paid?

I just bought a 2001 WS6 with 9,400 miles. The car is flawless with no paintwork at all. the interior is black and she is an A4. All stock right to the goodyear f1's. I was curious if $17,500 was a good buy. The car was always under a cover inside a garage. I did not investigate options and acted fast not to loose the car. I made several offers to locals with more miles and they all said no to more money than $17,500. What do you all think?

My '99 ws6 was $16k with 45k miles.

The milage made it a great deal. I paid 16,500 for my 01 WS6 with 24,000 miles but it came with around 10k worth of mods so to me that was my little bonus.

To answer your question : you should have paid more.

I just paid 15,500 for mine.60,000 miles M6. It came with over 10 G in goodies. Engine, Tranny, rear end, suspension. I am pleased with it.

Oh yeah, sounds like you got a great deal. Right now I'm looking at an extremely low-mile (around 5k) black on black '02 ws6 for 25k asking. I'm not sure if mine is a good deal, but this seems to be around the average cost, so you got one helluva deal.

Took the words right out of my mouth. I'm considering selling my modded 01 WS6 with 26,000 miles and start looking for an 02 Z06. I might wait another year to let them go down in price more and maybe the WS6 go up a little. I still love my redneck trans am though.
