I'd say your around 330-340 rwhp, is it an a4 or m-6 cause that make a difference. Does your buddy understand stock vs stock you'd take him anyways or is he that ignorant.
And your really need to get some aftermarket lower control arms and i'd also get some sub frame connectors on there asap.Pacesetter Headers- ORY

Well considering is car is bone stock you should take him .... as far as mods go, maybe get yourself some gears .... or pulleys, maybe a electric water pump. You could also get a good tuner to tune your car. Just something to think about

I believe the mustangs actually wiegh 300 lbs more than an f-body and they also make less power.
Just race him, put him in his place and get it over with.

I got a look at an 05 GT convertable and it weighed 4200lbs, I cannot see them add 900lbs of roofing and suspenison to it. Most mustang guys really dont know what they are talking about. The guy that showed me his thought that my 2000TA was pulling around 400-450hp stock, then said his mustang would keep up with a 06 GTO.

you'll kill him i race a buddies 06 gt with exhaust i and i killed him by atleast 6 cars and i have watched them take off and i havent been impressed with them, they come stock with like 300 base hp which actually makes it like 265 to the rear wheels.

Stock LS1 TA will beat a stock (non supercharged) mustank. With ur mods, you won't have a problem.
