How many '02 firehawks?

I have recently purchased an '02 firehawk with 44K miles and it is still bone stock. I understand slp only made so many each year, how do I find out how many were made in '02 and what number my car is? Does anyone know? Thanks

Hey bro, Wicked bird! Well you can go to firehawk.org (The FireHawk Owners Organization) or go to your local library and search for The Standard Guide of FireBirds or Standard Catalog of American Muscle cars both written by John Gunnell. more>

Both were published by MotorBooks. They can be bought at Borders or Barnes&Nobles or Amazon.com too. I can help ya find the info if you'd like. Just lemme know dude! Again sick Hawk bro!

Call SLP in NJ @ (732) 349-2109. They are still in business, if you give them the VIN, they will give you your build #, and tell you what options are on the car.

Congrats on da hawk i purchased mine in April. Call SLP and give dem ur last 8 digits in da VIN#... Mine is 1240 and 1501 were made in 2002.

PM David Hamburger at LS1TECH.com and give him your VIN. He will tell you your build # and what options SLP put on your Hawk. He works for SLP or call the number dagersh said. Both will work.

thanks for all of your help i called slp today and they told me my build #but when i asked about options my car came with they said i would have to buy 60 dollar birth certificate that would come with my name on it, vin # all the options and my name. I thought it would be cheaper and easier than this.

Now you are one step closer to knowing why there are so many people who dislike dealing with SLP.

Join up on the Firehawk forum. Post your VIN & someone can come along & run the car in the database & find your SLP options.
Also look at your passenger side door tag, if it's still there. There are door tags on the later 4th gen cars that have the added SLP options listed.
