    How the fuck?

How do you get these things on jack stands, seriously. Only one spot in the back to lift, so once it is up, you can't put the stands anywhere. Up front is same thing. I am still thinking this through. Might have to set it down on blocks?

I set the stands on the brackets where the lower trailing arms bolt up.

Yes, and I have those chrome good year (sams) jack stands so I have to get it up high before I can set it on them. I put the fronts on drive on rhino ramps. YMMV SAFETY FIRST!

i got them shitty drive on ramps from autozone... i put a 8"x4"2" peice of wood infront of them so my lip doesn't scrape the ramps... once i get is up on the ramps i jack the back up, put jack stands under it then i jack the rest of the front up and put stands under...

end result... car jacked 3' in the air painlessly...

I jack it up by the LCA, pretty hard to put a jackstand where your jack already is...I ended up going to my friends who has a hoist. I was getting tires mounted and I NEVER EVER let them touch my car. I always remove wheels and bring them in via my parents truck. I used to have two sets of wheels so I could just have one set on while the other is switched but since the incident I only have one set

I built a couple wooden ramps.
The tire would just push the Rhino Ramps.

I just jack up the front at the center of the K-member and put the stands on the joint where the control arms meet the k-member.. then jack up the rear at the pumpkin and put the stands on the axles...

+1, I did this too. I put a good size board on the jack pad to distribute the weight a little when jacking up on the front k-member. Don't know if you really need to that though, thats just me.

yep, that's what I do. I also have a small floor jack that I'll use to lift one side of the car a little so I can get my big jack to the center of the k-member. I'll do the same on the rear to get my big jack under the pumpkin. It's a symphony of jacks and jack stands working in tandem when I raise the car.

I have a 4 ton from sears... and for the front, I just slide it in at a slight angle to clear the air dam, then jack it up and put in the stands... and for the rear, the jack fits under the pumpkin just fine... is your car lowered?

I started a thread called lifting your car a few weeks back about this after I tried the low profile 4 ton from sears. Really badass jack, but I couldn't get it under the rear. It also wouldn't even make it to the sfc back the back rear tires. Took that f'r back and got my money back.
