    How do I find my build number?

    I see a lot of people post what number build there T/A's were. How do I find my build number?

    I believe you have to go threw a dealership, you give them your vin and they can run it threw there system to figure it out.

    I called and they gave me my build date, but no luck on the number. They said that the Camaros and Trans Ams were built on the line at the same time, so there is no way of knowing the build numbers. But I did get the date my bird was born. 05/03/02. Looks like we have a birthday coming up.

    Kinda sucks gm cannot tell us, but we should probably try and get a stickie on a thread how to go about getting ur build number.

    I Dnt knw if they did the same with T/A

    next to come,4.10s,ls7 clutch, ms3 or 228r cam, ported 243s, ls6 intake, ls6 oil pump. ls2 timing chain, longtube headers no cats, with a tune..

    It should be just like the t/a's I'm sure that would be another route to take..

    Call SLP all they ask is the VIN #.
    If the same thing as SS. they should be able to help.

    Not, it's not the same.
    SLP had nothing to do with the WS6 conversion.
    I've already mentioned what needs to be done.

    The late 4th-gen SS & Firehawk's are SLP mod'ed cars.
    The late 4th-gen WS6 was done by ASC.
    Research it, ...
