How can I mod a WS6 auto?
I have a good friend who owns a 2000 WS6 auto. I wanted to know what mods are best for no more then $1k that will bring his car to the 12s.

it'd be in the 12's with just a stall. Fuddle racing ( sponsor) sells them for ~$450 I think.

VW BEETLE W/ FLOWER- 88 CRX
i to have an auto WS6
my current mods are just a set of pacesetter LT's
and i have a 2,600 stall (which is max for the stock converter><!)
i have a trans go shift kit that should be here soon from what i hear and on GMhightechperformance.com they had an auto ws6 with a set of street radials trans go exhaust and 3,000 stall and it ran 12.4
with just headers i am on par with stock 6spd's up to 120 MPH
all that cost me just over 1k
hope that helps some><

On a drag strip that 1 sec+ difference will be very noticable...but with the recent install of pullies and retune I see myself in the mid to high 12s.....will find out next Spring 2008 at US41 will also see if a set of NITTO 555R DR will improve me to the lower 12s. where is Speedinc.com located? I got on this board to inquire on cheap mods for my friends mint midnight blue 2000 and I have to say you guys respond very quickly unlike many forums but I wanted to say I appreciate it. I don't want to be the fastest but whenever its required I like to know she can take on many different cars especially the higher hp C6 Vettes and even higher hp Merc's and Bmer's and Audi's etc..etc.
Maybe we can get some of you guys to come to our drag days at Indiana's US41? Its private initially but then opens to public.
