    this hood thing is ridiculous!

Ok guys so im sure this topic has been beaten to death, but im fairly new so i thought i'd take a wack at it.
SO! Im stuck with the decision to either fork the cash out on a LS Ta for that retardedly sexy hood or keep the LT and go with that year ws6 hood and dump $$$ into the motor. Basically i just kinda want yalls opinions on the hood styles. im assuming since this is in fact a mostly LS forum it will be kinda biased lol but who knows. Personally i like them equally which is why its so hard. The LT hood looks mean, kinda rough around the edges, and strong, and the LS looks just hot. Stupid hot. Whatchya guys think?

I like the 98-02 WS6 front end better, I just do. But the 93-97 Trans Ams, I see less of them, WS6 is harder to see in my area. Personally I would stick with yours and dig into my garage for my stepdad 383 Strocker with an LT4 and call it day. Well thats what I would do.

So is it, get a 98+ T/A with the LS or Replace the hood on your LT and use the rest of the money on the motor? I'm not biased because I had a 97 WS6 before my 98 and IMO, I love the 98 more than the 97. Better power stock and easier to mod on a budget

You could just put the front end of an 98-02 Trans Am on your car, it has been done. But you will probably be better off selling your car and buying an LS1 car, unless you done allot to your engine.

I would say mod your current car.

Not having a car payment is a great feeling.

Couldn't agree more. Having a few more hundred bucks a month to spend on mods will get you where you want to be faster.

But if your only trying to look like a 98+, then I would consider starting off at that point.
