Hood Struts
Where can I get hood struts for 98-02 firebird with a fiberglass hood(35/45 psi rating) Any part numbers?

Mine isn't carbon fiber, but i imagine if they lifted my heavy stocker, you should be all right. I picked them up from advanced auto parts, but they had to order them for me. If your not in a huge rush for them I would look on ebay.

I bought mine at a local body shop. We tried a few different ones untill we found some we liked.

Here's an interesting fact:
Use Camaro P/N struts....
They are a tad bit longer, and provide about 3" more clearance at the nose while the hood is open.
