Hi Guys looking to TransAm
Hi, I am in the market for a TransAm. I was wondering if this would be a good buy http://tinyurl.com/6bebdb I have limited funds and I can only spend around $10,500.
P.S I was wondering what a stock TransAm does 0-60 in?
Thanks,
Joe

looks like a nice ride, seems like a good deal for that price, low mileage too. very rare to see any of the ls1 birds lower than 10gs in my area. would definately get an inspection done on it and accident history report. as for 0-60 no idea

Black / Stryker Blue- 2K WS.6/ 2K9 G8GT
his is a formula. search the site for detailed differences.. in a nutshell, the formula is a v6 body (most cases) with a v8 powertrain...

Navy Blue Metallic- '00 Formy A4
Or someone who doesn't like or want the big wing and ground effects.
I love my Formula, had I been able to buy one of these cars new that's what I still would have bought.
Back on topic, the price looks good, especially with that mileage. As long as it's in good shape and has a clear Carfax, I'd go for it.
As far as the 'Formula' being mentioned in that add, I see that all the time, I think they do that so they get more hits when people do searches.Last edited by StuntmanMike; 07-07-2008 at 02:57 AM.

Do any of you guys know a good website to look at TransAms? I usually go to auto trader and craigslist, but they have don't have that good of a selection.

the Trans Am / Formula thing is also the VIN when you look it up on carfax it will bring it up
Hell if I could have found a formula when I was looking I sure as hell would have bought it... but then again I love mine to so .....
Price 52K for under 10K seem about right to me as long as it's not ragged out
no inside pics / under hood ???

red- 1998 trans am WS6
The car looks in really good shape man,I am a "WS6 only guy"because it's almost the top line( firehawk)but this T/A looks very clean and with only 52K on the clock...if you don't mind the ram-air hood and 17" rims,go for it or at least you could add a hood and some nice wheels!
