Help me convince myself to get a TA over a G35
My gut tells me to get a trans am, but my head tells me to get a G35 because it is more practical.

what is more practical about a G35?
I really like them but no way in hell would i trade my TA for one..
A bone stock ls1 TA will hand a g35 its ass, even the G37 for that matter..

If you have to ask you deserve the g35. It's more comfy for the older folk.

I can't seem to figure out how its more 'pratical'
1.) A G35 is going to be more expensive than getting a TA
2.) an M6 TA will get just as good, and probably better MPG
3.) TA will have more power, and is cheaper to fix when something does goof.
4.) a TA will get more respect any day of the week.
Easy enough choice if it were me.

Black- RIP S4 06Tbss
X2 its going to be a nicer car to drive in general. Yeah its slower but it all depends on what you want. Your asking the trans am section what you should get, overall that is just going to give you a one sided oppenion. Looks wise thats a no brainer to 95% of the population lol.

Navy Blue Metallic- '00 Formy A4
I love my Bird, but as a DD I'd take the G35. They're just REALLY nice cars.
Cons are that it's slower, more expensive to own, mod, and fix, and no better in the snow.
And as far as reliability, I have a friend with a '04 with 40k miles that's been in the shop a few times, while I've had no problems with my 'Bird.
If it's a question for you, I'd say drive them both.

Look at it this way... there will be no more new Pontiac Trans Ams ever. The T/A's that are out there are all at least seven years old now. If you can find a good clean low mileage T/A, now is the time.

Phantom Black Metallic- 2004 GTO M6
I have driven both. T/A is roomier.
extreme dimensions, driveshaft shop, harrop, hid(35watt/6k) lows, hurst, k&n, led fogs, maverick man, mishimoto, nitto, revshift, slp, stern st-1, smoked sidemarkers, whiteline poly radius rod bushings

I think I am going with a Trans Am. I want something fun and now that Pontiac is gone there in no chance a new one will be made. Oh and I am only 17 so should I hold of on mods till I get used to the power and is buying one with 100,000 miles a bad idea?

I vote for the T/A all the way, but I am super biased and a LSx fanatic. The T/A in my opinion is a superior looking car with an awesome drivetrain and tons of performance potential. Although a G35 probably rides better if you like comfort, this is a guess though as I have never driven one.
